Our standards
Modern Current Review aims to make rural subjects clear, fair and worth a reader's time. We value accuracy, context and a visible distinction between editorial work and material created with partners.
Accuracy and context
We take care with names, terms and explanations, and seek to give readers enough context to understand what a statement does and does not establish. Where a subject depends on local conditions, we say so rather than present one place as representative of all.
Independence
Editorial decisions belong to the publication. A commercial relationship does not buy favourable coverage, control over editorial conclusions or a promise of publication. Partner material is kept distinct from independent editorial work.
Corrections
If you spot a factual error or unclear passage, contact us with the article and the detail at issue. We review specific, useful corrections and amend published material when warranted, making the change clear where appropriate.
Partner material and illustrations
Paid, supplied or otherwise partner-supported material is labelled so readers can recognise its nature. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; when used, they are identified as such and are not presented as documentary photographs.
